**The ACD is not a breed for just anyone, they need adequate training, attention, and a job to do in order to keep them out of trouble. Puppies need training adequate socialization. Puppies need to have supervision, and consistency in the home, and is not for a house hold that is not puppy proof. ACD puppies will chew on things in the home if they are unsupervised, they often times will be escape artists and will chase ANYTHING that moves. That includes cars, bicycles, cats, rabbits children and anything else that runs The ACD will want to be with you at all times so if you are rarely home and work long hours away from home, this may not be the best breed for you!! This is not a breed that is couch bound, but they sure do enjoy a good cuddle every now and then. If you are ready for a hard working dog who is loyal to a fault and will want to spend every waking moment with you, then look no further!
